Certified installation PO / SI-01
PO / SI O1 (ie Internal System Installation) is the procedure for verifying and assessing the quality of the installation of the window frame.
Think of an exceptional window that has passed seal and insulation tests with excellent results. Then think about that badly installed window: the laboratory values will not correspond to the real ones, measurable inside the building.
When a window is installed incorrectly and loses some of its qualities, all the design and construction work carried out by the designer is thwarted.
This control procedure allows the manufacturer of windows and doors to have the certainty that the values identified in the laboratory on their frame are maintained even after installation on site.
Responsibility for laying
Various texts govern the responsibility for the installation of windows and doors:
- European standard UNI EN 14351-1
- Italian legislation UNI 10818
- Legislative Decree 206 of 2005 (Consumer Code).
This is why installation is a phase that should not be underestimated.
